Baldwin Homes for Sale

The village of Baldwin is a small St. Croix County community that’s located only 30 miles east of the Twin Cities and about 40 miles west of Eau Claire, WI. Baldwin was first established back in 1871 and quickly grew to be a thriving small town thanks in large part to both the railroad and all the farming and logging opportunities that much of Western Wisconsin had to offer. Today, about 4,000 people call Baldwin home, which is a number that has grown substantially just since 2000. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Baldwin only covers about 2.91 square miles, though, meaning much of the real estate landscape consists of single-family homes that, at most, usually only offer a few acres or so. It’s also worth mentioning that Baldwin also features a great network of outdoor amenities and parks for local home owners to enjoy, including nearby Willow River State Park, the Eau Galle Recreation Area, and Glen Hills Park.
