Star Prairie Homes for Sale

The town of Star Prairie has a very long and rich history thanks to its location along the Apple River, which once acted as a primary transportation passage for the Western Wisconsin logging industry. The railroad also allowed the Star Prairie community to flourish back in the mid to late 1800s, but today, the lifestyle here revolves more around agriculture and all the outdoor recreational amenities provided by the Apple River and the area’s two primary lakes—Cedar Lake and Squaw Lake. The Apple River runs along the east side of town and parallel with Main Street, which is also Highway 65 and the community’s one primary thoroughfare. Island River Park and Village Park both border Star Prairie’s east and west sides, while also providing locals with some additional outdoor hotspots as well.
